The Golden Rule in Swinging

In the swinging community everyone has the right to say "NO" at anytime and to anyone. Any improper handling of a situation can lead to bad feelings and hurt. To avoid this just simply saying, "No, Thank You" it is more than enough. An explanation is not required as this may cause further problems and bad feelings.


Be Friendly

Be courteous and polite at all times whether or not you are interested in swinging with someone.

Be Courteous - Treat others with courtesy by being kind, thoughtful, understanding and sensitive. Courtesy is treating others the way you want to be treated.

Respecting Others

Not everyone is comfortable in all situations and environments. At all times keep an eye open for signs that your partner, as well as others are relaxed and enjoying themselves. If there are signs that things are not working as they are suppose to be don't be afraid to express your feelings but in doing so be polite and courteous so as not to offend others.


Don't Be Pushy

Learn how to handle the word "No" with a "thank you". Keep in mind that every individual has the rights in swinging and respecting those rights are common courtesy. If you are interested in swinging with someone, let them know in an inviting way. And they have every right to say "No" without any explanation. So just accept it and move on
