I"m just curious as to how many people give their exact living location on their profile. Do you post a larger more recognizable place near you if you live in a small town/village? Do you do it so that the locals don't know you are on here? Is it a big concern to you if the person you are contacting isn't in the exact location on their profile? I know there are some on here that think we should all post our exact living location. I think they might even want the 911 address so they can check out our homes ( I truly hope there aren't any, but you never know lol). As I said, I'm curious. i posted a larger location . Only for the reason most wouldnt have a clue if i gave the town name . Would not bother me if a neighbor was to see me on here . We are all here for same reasons i would think .most people live far away from me so willingness to go outside my area is essential

We simply posted our home town. It's a small village close to Winnipeg which is where we usually go to meet people anyway. We've always felt that there aren't going to be many people from our area likely to be just perusing the site or a couple others we belong to,and if someone is then they are obviously looking for the same thing. Then we might not have as far to travel,lol.

Yes we post the nearest large town no one would know where we live and even doing that people think we are somewhere else that's not even close,plus very few people seem to read the profiles so it really doesn't matter LOL .
