I was just wondering if you have the permission of the owner to have sex on his property? When we talked to him last year he said that he doesn't mind people using the beach as long as they treat it with respect; just don't know if his definition of respect includes public group sex. I would hate to lose the opportunity to be nude at the beach because some people got a little carried away.

Are you saying that if a couple kisses on a private beach it will be closed?  That is sex after all.

The owner and Police have no problem with adults socializing on the beach in a group.  What is the point of going to the beach if you do not say "hello" or chat or make new friends?  Why not go as a group and talk? There is more to being social then sex.  Making new friends is one of them.

I was surprised the other weekend at how many people on the beach were not smiling or meeting new friends that day.  This is why going as a swinger's group works.  We know the lifestyle and are comfortable talking with others.  That is what I do at my house parties and it works.  We laugh during sex, before sex and after sex.  Sex on the beach, is completely up to the individual.

Why go to a nude beach just to NOT meet new people?  If sex happens, sex happens.  At lease we will get to enjoy the weather while meeting new people.

We try to go there as often as we can. We respect the fact that it is a private nude beach not a sex beach. There is a difference between nudists & swingers. And we all know the difference between kissing & fucking.

There are usually children about whenever we have been there. What you do behind closed doors is entirely different from what you do in the open on some else's private property. I think I would get the written permission from the owner before I would be having a sex party on his beach. Your original post here sounds like it's about the sex & not about socializing there.

CpleFun4You, all of our car pools fell thru tonight for the morning, so the weekend looks like the next group attempt.  I'll ask my friends to look for the "green and blue" umbrella on the park side of the first flag.  It is refreshing that people want to meet and say "hello".

The beach is a great place to meet people if there are "symbols" saying "welcome - drop in and say hello".  I look forward to stopping by to meet in person, socialize and chat.  Makes the beach time well spent.

If I go to a swingers party I don't expect the hosts to change the rules for me...

The beach in Burwell is owned by a Family whose children often venture down during the day, either walking or on ATV's. The un-written rule is no "SEXUAL INTERCOURSE" on the beach during the day when families bring their children and yes, I had heard the family will close off access if this is abused.

With that being said, there have been moments after 7pm or later when things get a bit more exciting...although I myself have never stayed for this because by then I am exhausted from the sun lol

If you are choosing to go and socialize, get to know new people, enjoy the freedom of your naked soul ... so be it ... but remember take advantage of what is offered and all who have had the luxury of spending time and sunning their bits ....and it could very well be taken away from everyone.

Remember as well ... there are children of nudist families at this beach during the day as well ... be respectful of the lil ones.

I second that.  Don't ruin a perfect beach for the rest of us by choosing to ignore the rules totally.  We get to use that beach by the good will of the owners of the property.  As much as some naughtiness does happen occasionally it is usually late in the day after the families and naturists have gone home.  Even then.  The owner likes to come down after the heat of the day and walk her beach.  So you still need to be careful.

Thanks to all those who have chimed in on this topic! We went for an early evening walk along the beach on Saturday, and were back again Sunday in the hot hot sun, and both times it was beautiful. We are very grateful to the owners for allowing us to use their property, and hope that everyone continues to make that possible for all of us.
