PLEASE READ THIS POSTING BEFORE POSTING ANY NEW EVENTS!!!! FINALLY THIS SECTION HAS BEEN GOTTEN DOWN TO BEING CURRENT. I WANT TO THANK ALL POSTERS THAT MADE THE NEEDED ADJUSTMENTS TO THEIR POSTINGS TO ALLOW THIS TO OCCUR, BUT THE MAINTENANCE DOES NOT END HERE. IT IS A REQUIREMENT FOR POSTERS IN THIS SECTION TO MANAGE THEIR POSTINGS AND REMOVE OLD POSTINGS WHEN THEY EXPIRE. To remove any old events all you need to do is go to the event and click Delete at the bottom of the posting. And it is REQUIRED that old postings be removed within ONE WEEK of their expiry. We STILL ask that no one post ANY events further ahead than 3 months from the date they put up their event. This is what got the section in such bad shape before and we will be monitoring the section going forward to insure this does not happen again. We do not wish to take the drastic step of deleting any more profiles of those with old postings, just so we can keep this section up to date, but we have already gone that route and deleted profiles with EVENTS that were not cleared out, and we will do so again if events are not managed by the posters of these events. This section is very useful to many people for planning their fun and for advertising their own functions and we want it to be used wisely. We thank you AGAIN for your assistance in this matter and look forward to seeing more events listed in this section allowing it to be used by all members. And YES, I KNOW there are a number of postings at the end of the section that have been there for a long time and aren't even events. This is something we are working on, so far, unsuccessfully.
